All went really well with the appointment today! Joseph came in at 27 lbs. and 10th % on growth chart. Bralee at 23 lbs and 3rd % on growth chart. At this rate they may completely fill out the 2T clothing by their 3rd birthday! All I have to say is progress is progress. Regardless at what speed it happens, at least we have progress to build upon! Even better news, we do not have to go back until July!
We did have Brian in tow on this appointment. No, he did not get on the scales, but he never has been below the 95% on the growth chart since he was 6 months old. He mostly stays around 98%. Resulting in many questions: Do you have twins and 1 really close in age?
In comparison, it does look like Brian has never missed a meal and perhaps even stolen a few from Bralee and Joseph. I will rest assure, they all hold their own when it comes to food.
After the appointment, Shane went to pass out sippy cups. We are currently using (have been for about the past 3 months) 1 pink, 1 purple, and 1 orange. They automatically look to make sure they are getting the correct color. It is frustrating. We have another set that we use for juice only, 1 pink, 1 green and 1 blue. It was odd, they pulled dominance over color on those as well.
Bralee =Pink (naturally)
Brian = Purple/blue
Joseph= Orange/green
For Christmas we got some water cups/sports bottle that will not leak. Two are exactly alike. It will be funny watching it play itself out on whom will get which bottle.
